HomeCare Bichsel continues to expand its digital services
From summer 2026, a digital solution will be available that enables patients or their relatives to order prescribed products for stoma care, enteral nutrition, wound care and incontinence independently online
In addition, the shop provides a clear overview of the rest of the Bichsel range. These products can be viewed, but online orders can only be placed once a prescription has been issued and approved by a healthcare professional.
Also in the pipeline:
A digital solution for you as a prescriber, designed to simplify the management of patient information and enable you to easily assign prescribed products and prescriptions to patients. Patients can then view their assigned products and order them directly.

As of the end of 2026, Bichsel will cease its pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. HomeCare Bichsel and the Bichsel Pharmacy in Interlaken will continue to operate. Therefore, nothing will change for you.
Our HomeCare services will continue as usual and will be offered in a brand-neutral manner, independent of individual manufacturers. You will continue to be looked after by the contact persons you are familiar with.

Lifestage Solutions and HomeCare Bichsel join forces
Combining specialist expertise and digital know-how to deliver high-quality home care.
Lifestage Solutions and HomeCare Bichsel are joining forces to move forward into the future, with the aim of further developing their home care offering and making patient care more efficient. The new structure provides access to all services and products from a single source – bundled together and easily accessible via a digital platform.
By combining the specialist expertise of HomeCare Bichsel with the digital expertise of Lifestage Solutions, we are further developing our service portfolio in a targeted manner to respond even more effectively to the needs of the healthcare market. Both brands will continue to exist and remain synonymous with quality in their respective fields.
This collaboration strengthens individualised care in all aspects of clinical nutrition, IV and pain management therapies, stoma care supplies, consumables and care materials (including their billing), and medication management. At the same time, we continue to invest in digital solutions that simplify workflows and optimise processes. We place great importance on shaping the future together with our employees.
Alpina Sana Glace for our home care patients
Since April 2025, we at Bichsel have been able to supply all HomeCare patients across Switzerland with the full range of ALPINA+SANA ice creams.
This innovative, nutritionally complete product was developed at ETH Zurich under the supervision of Dr Robert Schreiber specifically for malnourished individuals and their needs, and is a delicious addition to nutritional drinks.
During delivery, the specialist bofrost* / bofrost*suisse company uses its refrigerated logistics system to ensure that the cold chain is maintained without interruption. This guarantees the quality and safety of the products at all times.

Optimised care thanks to a new digital solution for artificial feeding therapies
The range of products available on the Lifestage Solutions AG app is expanding and now includes artificial nutrition therapy products from Bichsel.
